40 years

This couple just celebrated their 40th anniversary a couple of months ago... I find this truly amazing... :) I was asked to shoot a pose they had done on their wedding day in 1970... in addition to that we went ahead and took a few more photos... they were such a fun couple to work with... Congratulations again Gail and Chuck! :)

Project 52 | Week 2

After about an hour of trial and error, I finally achieve the shot I wanted :) Without using a macro lens, I wanted to get a macro shot of a water droplet... it sure was a challenge but it was definitely worth it! :)

This second photo looks like a sea lion with a ball on it's nose... I thought it turned out pretty cool :)

The Oasis

This is a very popular restaurant in Austin (a major tourist spot - sunset is awesome here) and I love that we just live 5 minutes away from it... these were taken on January 1st... what better way to spend brunch on the first day of the year! :)

Someone seems to be enjoying the view! :)

Project 52 | Week 1

So I decided to hop on along the project 52 train... I figured it would be easier for me to take at least 1 photo per week rather than 1 per day... :) For those who are wondering what project 52 is - I will be posting a photo (or photos) at least once a week... a 2011 photography goal for me... and an opportunity to put this fancy equipment to even more use!

Sophia is starting to learn colors and shapes! These Dr. Seuss flash cards are pretty cool... 2 sided - shape on one side, color on the other... a great gift from her birthday!

li'l sweet Lily

This little blue eyed angel refused to sleep on her belly... but that doesn't change the fact that she is the sweetest little thing! :)
