Twenty three months

Just one more month and Sophia will be 2! Wow. Where did the time go??

I was driving home from the grocery the day before Thanksgiving and the sun was about to set. It was such a beautiful day so I took Sophia to the park nearby. There were a few people there - perfect for a quick photo shoot. :) It is quite difficult to take photos at this age. She wouldn't stay still for 3 seconds, especially on these steps. I let her show me her teeth - hence, all the lovely smiles! :)

Thankful for...

... a happy marriage
... good health
... food on the table
... roof above our head
... an abundance of blessings
... and most especially THIS, our not so little bundle of joy!

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! :)

The Li'l Reader

I started reading to Sophia at 6 weeks old. Reading her a book every night is part of our routine. Now, she loves books! She has her own little book shelf so she can just grab any book she wants. I can leave her for about half an hour in the living room and she would just sit beside her book shelf "reading" her books.

And then there's nap time. She naps on her bed but this was an exception. I went to heat up her food for lunch and when I came back I saw her napping on the floor in her room with her "sleepy towel"! :)

In bubble land

Sophia LOVES bubbles! I don't know of any kid who doesn't! We were in the kitchen and she was running around giggling trying to pop or catch as many as she can. This little toy is probably the best $3.99 ever!

Droopy eyes

My little Sophia has been under the weather for a week now :( I took her to the doctor today and found out she has croup. I never thought she would get this since she doesn't go to day care. But, she must have caught it from somewhere. I noticed it started on Halloween. From hives, to fever, to sore throat, to cough and now croup. She is getting better which is the most important thing.

Here are a few photos of her during the weekend. She was being good just watching Dora. At one point she was so tired she just fell asleep on the chair. :)

I used my 100mm macro on these. She was barely moving so I was able to get clear shots.

Mommy's little angel

I can't believe Sophia is turning two in December! We were starting to dress up for a halloween party and before she started to dislike the headband, I was able to capture this moment. :)

"Punkin" Patch

Last weekend we took Sophia to the pumpkin patch. As soon as we got there she said, "So many punkins"! She was so busy looking at everything else it was difficult to get her to look at the camera! :)

Chef Sophia

This photo was taken a year ago... I was going through my old photos and found this. I can't believe I forgot about it! She was 10 months old then. Now she is singing "Twinkle, twinkle stars". :)
